Since American Girl started, their logo has been a star with the motto "Follow Your Inner Star". I love that star logo and it always brings back fun memories of playing with my dolls through the years!
Today I'm going to show you how you to make star pigtails! These are so much fun and easy too if you follow these simple steps...
Step 1--Put your doll's hair into three pigtails at the sides and top of her head.
Step 2--Seperate the left and right pigtails in half and bring the pieces towards the middle.
Step 3--Tie off with a hairtie. (I recommend using a clear one so it's not as visible)
Step 4--Seperate the middle section of hair in half for later. (You could use a clip to hold the pieces away from each other)
Step 5--Take the left section of hair and twist it tight.
Step 6--Then while holding the other twisted hair, take the right side of the separated middle section and twist that too.
Step 7--Cross over the twisted hair and pull into a pigtail.
Step 8--Do the same to the leftover right and middle section of hair, twist them and cross over.
Step 9--Pull into another pigtail.
Step 10--You can add some ribbon to the pigtails to dress up the style if you want to! And, you're done! Yay!!
