A cool treat on a hot Summer day is the best! There are lots of yummy treats to choose from, but I thought it'd be fun to make my dolls some Ice Cream Sandwiches to enjoy today!
I love these and they are very easy to make too! Let's get started!!
First you'll need some ingredients...supplies!
- Brown or tan craft foam (Chocolate or Vanilla!)
- White craft foam 22.8 cm X 30.4 cm thick
- Scissors
- Dull pencil
- And, glue!
Once you have everything you need, cut out two rectangles from your craft foam 2 inches long and 1 inch wide.
Then with your dull pencil, make hole indents in the craft foam.
Keep going until the entire rectangle is covered. You may want to go over the holes again to see the holes better.
When that's done, it's time to put in the ice cream filling!
Place one of the rectangles on top of the white foam to get the right size while cutting.
I love how the thick craft foam makes it look so real! Now all you have to do is glue the pieces together.
You can use any kind of glue you want. Stick glue worked well for me!
And...ta-daa, a delcious ice cream sandwich! When the glue dries you can give it to your doll.
Looks soooo good!
Mia loves these ice cream sandwiches! She's going to share that vanilla one with a friend too. ;)
Time to dig in...mmm!
Hope you have fun making an ice cream sandwich for your doll! If you do, I'd love to see. Feel free to send me a picture at [email protected]
What's your favorite Summer treat? :)
