Here's Part 2 of a fun doll photostory that was made by my friend Grace as part of From a Friend Friday! (You can read Part 1, Here!) Enjoy!! :D
If you know me, the first thing you would know about me is that in not a morning person.
Eve climbed on top of me and started shouting "Wake up, wake up!"
"Why?" I asked.
"Because, silly! It's Beth's birthday today!"
As if on cue,the queen arrived with clothes in her hands. "Girls, get dresses quickly! The ball will be shortly!"
The clothing was the fanciest I've ever seen! Quietly, Eve and I got dresses and headed to the ballroom.
Agatha spotted us and ran over to give us a bear hug.
"Glad you could make it!" She said. A couple seconds later, we were already stuffing our faces with cupcakes.
"Caroline and Evangeline, please come to my throne room for a special announcement." The Queens voice echoed.
"Caroline," she started. "You have been adopted by someone near the castle. I thought it would be nice if you could give a speech."
"Oh-I wouldn't know what to say, my lady!" I said.
"Oh dear, I thought so. I've written something for you to read, however. Please take this to the main hall and I'll be there in a minute."
Eve and I made our way up to the front and stood on the stage. There were thousands of people watching us. It made butterflies go off in my stomach. I started to read.
"I would like to thank everyone for coming today." The next sentence only said 'make up your own' "I've had lots of fun...um...working here while waiting to be adopted." I paused as I read the next line in my head. "I need to announce, however, I have been adopted." The queen wrote.
Eve leaned over and read the rest of the paper.
"We both have. Even though we won't work here anymore, we still will visit the maids often."
We finished together.
"Because we will still be in the castle. The only thing that will change is-" we both stopped and smiled widely at each other. I could barely breath! "That Beth will now have two sisters."
Beth's eyes sparkled and she too, shared the same wide smile that Eve and I both had on our faces. The party ended quickly, it seemed and we were sent off to bed.
"You know," I said. "When I first came here, I thought I had nothing. No nice clothes, shoes, not one hairpiece. But now, I don't need anything else. I have something."
"What is that something?" Beth asked.
"You. I have a good family-it's not about money and looking pretty. Being you is the prettiest thing of all." I closed my eyes, and fell asleep.
Fun facts!
#1-The queen was originally going to be the bad guy.
#2-Beth was going to be a maid who adopted them from the evil queen, but got changed to a princess when I changed the queen.
#3 When they are in bed, they are still in the same clothes they were at the party.
#4 To attach the cupcakes to their hands, I used glue dots.
#5 Who knew that a table could be used for so many things? I used it for a stage, Beth's table (with the blanket Beth had on her in the second to last picture) and the queens table.
