First, here's the paint used--gold metallic, neon pink, white puffy paint, metallic purple puffy paint, and we tried out something different...chalkboard paint! I also bought some inexpensive glitter glue pens.
Cecile went for the pink and Saige, the metallic gold! After about an hour or so of painting, they were finished. But they had to let the pumpkins dry, of course!
Cecile's pumpkins are a pink owl and a lacy pumpkin made using puffy paint!
And Saige's pumpkins are gold striped and one made just for all of you American Girl Fans!
And, their last shared pumpkin...the chalkboard paint worked amazing! It's double sided to make it more cute. (This one was my favorite--I'd love to see what this would look like on a big pumpkin!)
Which pumpkin is your favorite?
I hope you have fun painting some mini pumpkins with your doll! If you do, I'd absolutely love to see. Feel free to send a picture to [email protected] :)
Happy Fall Crafting! :)
