More Fun At the American Girl Columbus Store!

There was a ton to see at the American Girl Columbus Store! If you haven't read my other post, you can by clicking HERE. I have even more pictures that I'm excited about sharing with you! All of the dolls were posed so perfectly.

I always love the store exclusives. They had a lot there too!

The original Columbus shirt, hoodie, shorts, and purse screams "American Girl"! I love the grey polka dot shoes too. I didn't see those sold anywhere at the store and was going to ask somebody, but forgot. If anyone knows if these are an exclusive too, let me know! I was really curious. :)

Here's the new My American Girl doll, #61. She looked sweet in these pjs.

I LOVE the Coconut outfit! The peach skirt is a beautiful color.

Here's all the new mini dolls! I'm a fan of the old ones a bit better, but I still think they are very cute!

Happy Friday, girls! I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving and ate lots of great food. Did you score any Black Friday deals? I'd love to hear about it!

From Lainey--Happy (now late) Thanksgiving!I definitely have many things I am thankful for,but I am really thankful that my Grandma gave me Moriah,and now she is officially my doll! 

From Linda--I recently bought a couple of things on sale from American Girl. They will likely be sold out soon and not return. What a better day to share the sale than Black Friday? I'm known as lab-den 18-inch doll fun on youtube. I do not have a web site or blog. My daughter, Rachel, and I like to create things for our dolls, and share things that we buy too. (Watch above or on her Youtube Channel!)

Here's how you can:

-Send a picture of your doll(s), crafts, hairstyles, videos, photostories, fun finds,ect to [email protected] (It must be a picture you or a friend/family member has taken. Limit to 4 pictures per person. If you decide to send in a craft or photostory please limit to 10 pictures.)

-Put "From a Friend Friday" as the subject (Since I get a lot of email, this would make sure yours gets here!)

-Be sure to include your name (or nickname) and the names of the doll(s) in your picture. You can also include a description for your picture if you want to.

-Send your picture in as soon as possible. If I don't get it in time, I'll have to post it the following week.

Doll Hairstyle: Braided Ponytail Flip!

Does your doll need a festive hairstyle? Here's one of my favorites right now, a braided ponytail flip! It's super easy and works well with long haired dolls. Ready to learn how to do it? Let's go!!

To start, make two small but long braids on each side of your doll's head. 

Then, cross the braids over and slowly remove the hairties, bring the hair together in a ponytail. Tie off about an inch and half down from where the braids meet.

Poke a hole right above the hairtie. If the hole goes through one of the braids, that's totally ok. :)

Next, flip the hair up and through the hole. Afterwards adjust as much as you need to. I tightened it alot by splitting the ponytail and pulling away in opposite directions. This made the flipped twist closer to the braids. 

And, there you have a braided Ponytail flip! Perfect for any occasion, like Thanksgiving!
