Doll Hairstyle: Fancy Braided Bun Updo!

Does your doll need a fancy hairstyle for an upcoming party? Or, maybe she just feels like being dressy? Here's a gorgeous new style I love, called the Braided Bun Updo. The best part is, it's super easy! 

To do the hairstyle, first part your doll's hair down the middle to make two even sections. Then, make a simple braid with the first section. Begin the braid right behind your doll's ear and straight down her back. (Be careful not to braid towards the front of the doll's face or there will be an odd bump on the side later on) Secure with hair elastics (I use clear ones so they are not seen). Make two braids.

Now take the very end of one of the braids and roll it up and under. Roll it as tight as you can and when you reach the top of the braid, you should be able to lay it flat against your doll's head. Use bobbypins to secure the bun tight to the head. Do the same to the other braid, putting the braided buns close together. 

And, there you have the beautiful style! 

Add a headband or use ribbon for a final touch!
