I'm very excited to announce our Valentine's Day Doll Photo Contest 2015! I look forward to this every year and love to see dolls of all kinds having Valentine's Day fun!

You could win two American Girl Prizes too, just read on!

 -First have a Parent's permission-you will have to give your home address if you win 1st or 2nd place in the contest.

-Take a Valentine's Day picture of your doll(s) (like mine above of Kit!) You can dress all your dolls in pink, put on a party, make valentines, anything and everything Valentine's Day! Be creative! In your email tell me your name or nickname, and the name of your doll(s) in your picture. You can use as many dolls as you'd like and Non-American Girl dolls too! So, if you don't have an American Girl doll, you can still enter in the contest. 

-Send me your picture by emailing me at [email protected]. 

Please send in only one picture, per person. Making a picture collage is allowed. 

The last day to send in your picture is Thursday February 12th, 2014. By sending in a picture, you will be automatically entered for the chance to win one of two AG prizes!! Once I get all the doll pictures, I will show them in a new post on February 13th for everyone to see. Then on Valentine's Day, I will randomly choose two names out of the ones entered!

A $15 American Girl Giftcard! The giftcard comes inside a nice folder. It works online at AmericanGirl.com and in stores too. 

Or, The American Girl Valentine Gift Set! The doll shirt is so cute. I love the sparkly dalmatian dog holding the "I Woof You" heart. 

First winner will have the choice of which prize they would like, and second winner will get the other prize the first winner didn't pick. (I can only ship the prizes to the USA and Canada. But, if you are international, let me know and I could send you the giftcard code through email!)

From A Friend Friday: January 30th!

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's the last Friday of January, ahh! 2015 is already going by fast. There were lots of doll pictures sent in this week, you all are so creative! Let's take a look...

From Emilyagfan320--I did a photoshoot with all of my dolls. I think this one of Samantha turned out great!

From Julia--This week I did a hairstyle and outfit on Alex that was inspired by the singer Jamie Grace!

And I dressed Katy up like Korey Cooper from the band Skillet! These were pretty fun to do ;-) Any fellow fans out there, for Skillet or Jamie Grace?

And, my doll Alex is all dressed in blue and purple!

 I love how the turquoise in the shirt compliments her eyes!

And, now a photostory by Edith called, Dinner At Le Grill Gastronomique!

“Thank you so much for inviting me to lunch, Caroline.” Addy exclaimed, “It was so thoughtful of you.”

“I wouldn’t dream of going without you.” Caroline kindly replied as they walked across the parking lot. Soon, they had reached the grand doors to the renowned restaurant, Le Grill Gastronomique. Caroline’s eyes grew wide and Addy gasped as they stepped inside. They were in an elegant anteroom.“Welcome to Le Grill Gastronomique,” a friendly voice greeted them. “Your waitress will escort you ladies to your booth.

Caroline and Addy followed a lady to a table covered in a neat, white tablecloth. “My name is McKenna, and I will be your waitress tonight,” the lady who they had followed said, “Please have a seat. Are you ready to order? Our special today is the signature lunch collection.” McKenna continued cheerfully, “How does that sound, Ladies?”

“That sounds wonderful!” Addy and Caroline both replied.

“Alright, one order of the signature lunch collection coming right up,” McKenna murmured as she scribbled their order on her notepad. “Will that be all tonight?” she asked before turning to leave.

“Yes.” Caroline called to the retreating waitress.

Soon, McKenna returned with a rectangular plate laden with a delicious looking meal. “Here we are, Ladies,” McKenna said happily. “Enjoy!” she said, before skipping off.

“This looks delicious,” said Addy, “Would you like to split the sandwich?”

“Alright,” Caroline agreed.

Before long, they were munching on the last of their sandwiches.

“That is the most delectable sandwich I have ever eaten,” Addy declared.

“We really must get the recipe,” Caroline agreed. Soon, McKenna was back to collect the payment. “How was your meal ladies?” she asked.

“Delicious!” Addy exclaimed.

“Scrumptious!” Caroline conceded.

Addy and Caroline were both beaming as they handed McKenna their check and a handsome roll of bills. “We will definitely be eating here again,” Caroline said.
