Happy St. Patrick's Day! I hope you are having a lucky day and are in all shades of green. :) Nellie and Abbey are celebrating today with a little party, complete with cute doll crafts. To join in the fun, I created a printable for you to use too!
You can print it out by clicking on the picture or link above. (Be sure to download and print at “Actual Size” from a PDF reader like Adobe Reader. If you save & print directly from your browser, it might not print at the right size.)
Here are three easy crafts you can make with the pattern...
1. Shamrock Cookies. Cut out the smallest shamrock and trace around it on green craft foam. Do the same on another piece of tan or brown craft foam to be the cookie. Glue the two together. Use puffy paint or regular paint to be the icing. I love these!
2. Shamrock Headband. Cut out the middle sized shamrock and trace around it on a green felt, then cut it out. Use a needle and green thread to stitch a border around the shamrock. Use elastic to make a headband (click here for more info on that), and glue the felt shamrock on it. Put it on your doll and instantly she is pinch-free! ;) haha
3. Shamrock Banner. Cut out the largest shamrock and trace onto green construction paper or patterned paper. Cut them out and tape on a piece of string, yarn, thread, ribbon-anything you have on hand. Once you have plenty of shamrocks on the string, hang it up in your doll's room or on a wall for a pretty backdrop. It works great for photoshoots! :)
I hope you have fun making some of these crafts for your doll! If you do, I'd love to see, feel free to send me a picture at [email protected]Are you and your dolls doing anything for St. Patrick's Day? :)
