Doll Food Craft: How To Make Star Cookies!

I've been getting into the patriotic spirit and made some star cookies for my dolls! These are super simple and can be decorated lots of different ways--but I used red, white, and blue of course! Here's how you can make them too...

First you'll need some supplies:

• Foam (Tan, red, and blue for me!)
• Scissors
• Glue Stick
• White Puffy Paint or Regular Paint
• Star Cookie Pattern

1. Cut out both star patterns, there will be a larger one and a smaller one. You'll need to use both for the craft. Place the larger star pattern on the tan foam and cut around it. Place the smaller star pattern on another foam color of your choice and cut around it. 2. Now you should have two foam stars! 3. Put the smaller star on top of the larger one. Use glue dots or stick glue to secure. 4. Looking good! 5. Here comes the fun part, decorating!! I used white puffy paint as icing, traced around the star and made stripes or polka-dots. 6. And you're done!!

I really like how they turned out! I think the cookies would look cute pink and red too, like the American Girl logo. :)
