Historical hairstyles with a modern twist are some of my favorites and today I did a retro bouffant bun! This is a great style as we head into the Fall months, I love it! Here's how you can do it too...
1. First pull your doll's hair up into a ponytail, leaving a few pieces out at the front. 2. Bring the ponytail up and clip it with a slide barette or bobbypin. 3. Begin rolling the hair under, towards the hairtie. 4 & 5. Secure the bun with bobbypins and I used two miniclips at the side. Tug the hair a bit to make it 'poof' the way you like. 6. Looking good! 7. Now take the leftover two pieces of hair and cross them over the top of the bun, securing with a bobbypin. 8. And, you're finished! You can tie on a piece of fabric as a headband for a vintage touch.
