It's an exciting day in the American Girl world, the new 1950s doll Maryellen Larkin is officially here! I love her collection and the nostalgic 50s feel in all of her items. Her poodle skirt has to be my favorite of her outfits, the polka dots are a nice detail!
Above everything though, I LOVE Maryellen's jukebox. It looks amazing! I like how you can plug it into your own device so it can play music...just use 50s music and you're all set!
The diner looks so realistic and the colors are perfectly retro. I like the vinyl seats!
And the TV! I'm a huge fan of 1950s black and white shows, I Love Lucy and Leave It To Beaver anyone? :) The App for the TV looks so cool and I like how you can make the picture turn to static. They chose such fun, bright colors for all of her living room accessories and everything.
Along with Maryellen, American Girl released new Truly Me and Bitty Baby items. I look forward to seeing the holiday outfits every year and this year's are beautiful! I like the gold one best!!
Another favorite is the Sparkle Spotlight outfit! The shirt is very trendy.
The leggings are awesome in the Cool Coral Outfit!
The Polar Bear Pajamas make me excited for Christmas!! Look at those adorable boot slippers!
And the Popcorn Machine!!! I love how fresh & different this is!
