Doll Craft: How To Make A Duck Tape Hair Bow!

When I spotted this adorable roll of pineapple Duck Tape, I knew I had to have it! The Duck Tape was perfect to make hair bows for my American Girl dolls. They are super easy to make too, I'll show you how!

First you need some supplies:

• Duck Tape of any color or pattern
• Scissors (I used sharp sewing scissors.)
• Measuring Tape/Ruler
• A Bobbypin

1 & 2. Begin by cutting two pieces of Duck Tape, one 7 inches long and the other 6 inches long. 3. Take the 6 inch piece and cut a strip from the top, a half inch in width. Do this a second time. 4. You should now have two big pieces and two little strips of Duck Tape. 5. Flip the 7 inch piece over and place the 6 inch piece on it. 6. Fold over the excess Duck Tape and cut the sticky end into a triangle shape. 7. Bring both sides together to make a circle shape. 8. Flatten and take one of your small strips of Duck Tape, sticking it on the middle and wrapping it around. 9. Pinch the middle to create a bow look. 10. Wrap the last little strip of Duck Tape around the middle, then slide on the bobbypin before wrapping the rest. 11. With your fingers reach under the bow and adjust to give it a fuller look. 12. And, you're done!

And there you have a Duck Tape hair bow! It finishes off a sweet ponytail, braid, or bun nicely.

The cute pineapple print looks beautiful next to Julie's blonde hair.
