Welcome to my newest American Girl doll, Grace Thomas! While at the American Girl Columbus store looking at all of Grace's items, I just LOVED her and had to add her to my doll family. There are so many great things I have to say about Grace and here is my review!
Grace has the sweetest face and sprinkle of freckles! I like how the freckles are different than Kit's and Mia's. :)
Grace's Paris t-shirt is so beautiful and glittery! She better watch out or my other doll's will steal this from her...haha. The cotton skirt is soft and I love the little bow on the front.
Grace has the BEST hair! It is a nice shade of brunette with numerous highlights spread throughout, like real brunette hair. It is soft and shiny!! Confession: I've been constantly swaying her hair back and forth like in those hair color commercials. It is just that pretty!
Here are the highlights on the other side of her hair, tints of red and golden brown.
Her hair comes in a little simple sidebraid style. When I took her out of the box, the top piece of her bangs was sticking up weird, but with some water I was able to get it to stay put. I think over time the side bangs will lay better.
Grace's charm bracelet comes with her and is taped on the inside of the box, much like with Saige's ring. It was hard for me to get on at first, but when it's on, it's adorable!
The six charms are of a French Bulldog like BonBon, a suitcase, a hat, the Eiffel Tower, a postcard, and a heart that says Paris. The colors are vibrant and I like how unique this piece is!
I love Grace's boots! They will definitely be getting much use from my dolls this winter.
I highly recommend Grace, she is a gorgeous doll! Her hair is easy to care for and I can't wait to do more hairstyles on her. :)
