This bunting banner I made is a great reminder to be thankful this holiday season and all year long! I love how it turned out and how it can be used to decorate my doll's space and my own. I have a free pattern you can use too, let's get started!
First you'll need some supplies:
- Cardstock or Construction Paper
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
- Tape
- Ribbon, String, Thread...anything you have on hand! As I was making the bunting, I decided to switch my ribbon to a thinner one. Anything works!

Click the link or picture above to print it out. (Be sure to download and print at “Actual Size” from a PDF reader like Adobe Reader. If you save & print directly from your browser, it might not print at the right size.)
1. Cut out the triangle pattern and lay flat on the paper. Trace or cut around to make eight triangles. Then cut out the letters that spell out 'Thankful'. 2 & 3. To attach the triangles to the ribbon, first see what it looks like from the front, then flip over. Use tape to secure the ribbon on the paper, then fold the top of the triangle over the ribbon and tape in place. You might need to trim the excess on the sides where you folded. 4. Repeat that step until all eight triangles are on the ribbon. 5. Then glue the letters on. 6. And, you're done!
Now your doll has a pretty decoration for Thanksgiving!
I hope you have fun making one for you and your doll! If you try it out, I'd love to see. Feel free to send me a picture to [email protected]
Happy Crafting! :)
