I love handmade Christmas decorations and when I saw these sparkly pipe cleaners at the craft store, I thought they would be a great mini garland! This is super easy and you could also make this garland for your own big Christmas tree.
All you need for this craft is scissors and sparkly silver, green, and red pipe cleaners. I used nine pipecleaners, three of each color. You can use more depending on how long you want your garland.
1. Start by cutting a pipe cleaner to at least six inches and bend it into a circle shape. 2. Twist the ends around the circle to secure. 3 & 4. Slide another pipe cleaner through the circle and again twist the ends to create a new circle. 5. Now you have two connected! 6 & 7. Continue the steps to connect the circles, alternating colors as you go. 8. When you've made it as long as you'd like, you're done
You can use the garland to decorate your Christmas tree like Julie is or you can hang it on the wall.
It also makes a cute backdrop & prop for doll photos!
I hope you enjoy making a mini garland! If you do, I'd LOVE to see. Feel free to send a picture to [email protected]
Happy Christmas Crafting!! :)
