Welcome to my newest American Girl doll, Lea Clark! I knew right away that she would be the perfect addition to my doll family. I love the fact that she likes photography, travels to Brazil, and the tropical aspect of her collection makes everything so bright and beautiful!
Lea's dress is now my favorite GOTY outfit! All of the colors in the print make it easy to mix and match with her other items and accessories.
I'm glad that her compass necklace and messenger bag are included with the doll! In years past they taped the accessory on the inside of the box, but these items are held in a plastic tray with her book on top of them. The compass actually works too!
Here's a close-up on her cute shoes! They are different and unique, I like the criss-cross of the strings. :)
Lea's hair is AMAZING! The AG hair-care tag that she came with, gave tips for straight hair even though it is a bit curly. Not ringlet curly, but more like curly waves. From the looks of it, her hair will be easy to care for. After I took her out of the box, I brushed her hair gently and the curls still flipped back into place. I think the hair could be even curlier with some spritz of water and finger-curling or you can brush it a bit to be straighter.
I'm already dreaming up all the hairstyles I'm going to do!!! I can't wait! :)
Lea also doesn't come with neck strings, which is a first!
So pretty ahh! I love how she looks like a little adventurer.
I got her exclusive collection, which came with her accessories and beach outfit. (I'll do other reviews of those sets soon!!) Her camera came in the accessories and she can really hold it, super cute!
She'll have plenty of pictures to take around here! I'm excited to see what adventures Lea has with my other dolls. :)
