New American Girl Mega Bloks Sets!

American Girl has created new Girl of the Year sets and figures with Mega Bloks! I was browsing the Mega Bloks website and they now have photos and information on each set displayed. I've heard reports of some already being at Toys R Us, but I don't know the exact release date. The U.S. prices on the site range from $3.99-$69.99, which is awesome! I love Grace's Pastry Cart above. Here are the other sets available:

I think this is a very unique addition to American Girl's products. I'd really like to have Grace's Pastry Cart and Saige's Art Studio Set! These would be great gifts for Easter too, especially the fashion figures. I can see so much playability with these sets--I wonder what they will look like compared to dolls.

Doll Hairstyle For Short Hair: Mini Double Twists!

If you're in need of a cute hairstyle for short doll hair, here's a new one I did on Nellie--mini double twists! I love how easy this is, and it could be casual or fancy. I also accessorized with a doll headband I made (currently available in my shop!)

All you need to do is grab two small pieces from both sides of your doll's head and give them a twist. Secure with a hair tie. Then, do the same thing to create another twist underneath the first. And, you're done!!

If you leave a few pieces in the front to frame your doll's face, it's even cuter!

I can't believe how amazing Nellie looks in Addy's Sunday Best Dress, the purple matches so well with her headband.
