From A Friend Friday: May 27th!

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's the last Friday of May, Summer will officially be here soon! I hope you've had a good week, it sure seems like these dolls have. We had some very creative pictures sent in. Let's take a look...

From Linda--Last week on May 19th was Kit's birthday. Nikki is the closest looking doll
that I have, so she usually poses as Kit for me.

The Kodak boxes and Newspaper and pictures are printables from AmericanGirlIdeas. The
typewriter is from a link on Livingadoll'slife and it too is paper.

From Am I Cute Or What--Here is a photo shoot I took of beautiful Elizabeth!! ;D

I love this picture when the wind started blowing Elizabeth's hair to one side.

Doll Craft: How To Make A Turtle!

Cuteness overload!!! These little turtles were actually made with an egg carton! I love recycling materials for crafts and turning them into new things. Want to make your doll a turtle of her own? Let's get started...

The supplies you need are:

• An Egg Carton
• Green Paint
• Paintbrush
• Light Green Foam
• A one-inch Green Pom-Pom
• Two Googly Eyes
• Scissors
• Glue

1. First flip over the empty egg carton and cut out one of the sections to be the turtle shell. 2 & 3. Paint it green and set it aside to dry. 4. Cut out two crescent shapes out of your foam around three inches long, these will be the arms and legs. Don't forget to cut out a little triangular tail too.
5. Glue on the foam pieces under the egg carton. Then glue on the pom-pom to be the head and finally the googly eyes. 6. Make a few other little turtles to keep the other company! And, you're done!

Lea is thrilled to see these turtles up close! :)

Mia's Rainy Spring Day Photoshoot!

Spring showers, bring May flowers! Mia had a fashionable floral look today as she went on a walk with Coconut in the misty rain.

Coconut didn't mind the rain one bit! She yipped and barked happily at her feet.

When they neared the end of their walk, the sun started to peek out from behind the clouds.

Mia was so glad to see the rain had stopped, she twirled her umbrella as she walked Coconut back to the house.
