If your doll is going to the beach this Summer, she might spot a crab walking along the sand! Here's an easy way to make a crab for your doll's beach photos, a fun decoration, or even an exotic pet.
The supplies you'll need are:
- A Sea Shell (You can find packs of these at craft stores)
- Red Pipe Cleaners
- Red Paint
- Paintbrush
- Two Mini Googly Eyes
- Scissors
- Glue or Glue Gun
1. Begin by painting the shell red. 2. Once the paint is dry, glue on the googly eyes. 3. Cut out eight pipe cleaners around two inches in length to be the legs. To make the claws, twist a pipe cleaner over another and cut to the right size. 4. Glue the claws and legs under the shell and bend them so that the crab can stand. And, you're done!
Now you have your own doll-sized crab! Kenley is very interested in this creature...
Wait, no Kenley! Don't pick it up!!!
Whew, good thing it's a friendly crab. Be careful of your fingers though Kenley, don't want them to get pinched!
