Grace's pumpkin definitely fits her sweet style! Donuts are a popular treat for any time of year, so I painted one on a white "casper" pumpkin. I came across this one at my local grocery store, but you can find them other places too. I love how they are so cute and different from a traditional pumpkin!
Besides a pumpkin, you'll need paint and paintbrushes for the craft. Here are the names of the Craft Smart paint I used: Pink Blast, Orange, Apple Tart, White, Bright Yellow, Pool Blue, and Purple.
Start with the pink and paint a circle around the stem of your pumpkin to be the icing. Keep going until you reach almost halfway down the pumpkin. Let dry. Then, with small brush strokes paint on the sprinkles with the other paint colors.
Now your doll has her own donut pumpkin!!
I love how from high up it looks like a real donut. :)
If your doll doesn't like pink icing with sprinkles, you could do any kind of flavor. Maybe try chocolate instead! ;)
If you paint a donut pumpkin for your doll, I'd love to see it! You can send me a picture to [email protected] or tag me on Instagram @creativedollcrafts
Have fun! :)
