Every Thanksgiving table needs a centerpiece, so I made a cute doll-sized one! This turkey flower pot could hold candy, napkins, silverware, or anything you'd like. It's sure to bring a smile at the dinner table. :)
The supplies you need are:
- Mini Terracotta Pot
- Wood Craft Spoon
- Five Feathers
- Brown Paint
- White Paint
- Black Paint
- Orange Craft Foam
- Red Craft Foam
- Ribbon
- One Button
- Paintbrushes
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun
1. Paint the wood craft spoon brown. Let sit for a few minutes, then make two black dots near the top of the stick. Add tiny white dots in the right hand corners. 2. As you're waiting for that to dry, glue the five feathers to the back of the pot. 3. Cut a heart shape from the orange foam to be the beak and oval shapes for the feet. Cut a long oval from the red foam to be the turkey snood. Tie the ribbon into a bow. 4. When the paint is fully dry, glue on the beak and snood. Next glue the bow and button. Finally, glue the feet to the bottom of the pot. And, you're done!! :)
Now your doll can place the cute little turkey on the table. :)
Addy loves the centerpiece! This would be a great craft to make for people too. :)
