Thanksgiving is all about family, friends, fun, and...food! I love all of the delicious food and wanted to make some for my dolls too. I made it all out of felt and completely no-sew, so it's super easy to do. Let's get cooking!!
The ingredients you need are:
- Orange Felt
- Maroon/Red Felt
- Green Felt
- Tan Felt
- Beige Felt
- Cream/White Felt
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun
- Poly-Fil Cotton
(This time I got the felt from Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Store, they had a nice variety of colors to chose from.)
Turkey & Gravy: Cut two half-circle shapes that are two inches long and an inch wide. Glue together to create the turkey slice. After that use the tan felt for the gravy. Begin to cut a circular shape then add a few curves to look more real.
Green Beans: Cut squares of green felt an inch wide. Roll the felt up and place a dot of glue at the end to hold it in place.
Mashed Potatoes & Gravy: Cut two circles an inch around. Put glue around the bottom edge of one of the circles and then press down the other circle. Fill with a small amount of poly-fil and glue the remaining edges. Cut a small circle of tan to be the gravy. Glue to the middle and press down firmly with a pen or pencil top to create a slight dip.
Cranberry Sauce: Cut small circles of maroon/red felt. Glue together or you can leave them as is.
Carrots: Cut tiny circles of orange felt and stack them together.
Kenley can't wait to dig in!
You can also add to your doll's menu crescent rolls, mac & cheese, and pumpkin pie from my other tutorials.
