Christmas is right around the corner!! Here's a pretty hairstyle to go along with your doll's holiday outfit. This pull through braid is fun to make and you can dress it up to look like a Christmas tree!
You'll need six bobbypins, five small pompoms, and one pipecleaner to make the decorations. Glue each pompom on the back tip of the bobbypin. Shape the pipecleaner into a star shape and glue to the bobbypin. Now that you have that done, it's time to do the hairstyle!
1. First make a half ponytail near the top of your doll's head. Gather the remaining hair into a low ponytail beneath the first one. 2. Take a small section of hair from the top ponytail. 3. Separate the section into two pieces. 4 & 5. Bring the pieces together underneath the ponytail. Use a clip or have someone hold up the ponytail for you so you can secure the mini ponytail with an elastic. 6. Remove the clip and put the ponytail back in place. 7. Repeat these same steps four times. As you make each part of the braid, tug on the sides to give it a fuller look and more like a Christmas tree. 8. When you've reached the end, take out the low ponytail elastic. Gather all hair into a new ponytail and tie off. Then you can put in the pins to add the pompom ornaments and the star.
The hairstyle looks gorgeous on Lea! :)
