Doll Craft: How To Make A Seashell Necklace!

Bring some of the beach to your dolls with this seashell necklace! It is a cute accessory for any Summer outfit or to anticipate the arrival of the new American Girl doll Nanea Mitchell. I'll show you how to make one too, let's get started...

The supplies you need are:

• Small Seashells (I got a pack of them at Michael's craft store)
• Beige Polymer Clay
• Cotton Cord
• Scissors
• Tape Measure/Ruler
• Anything pointy to poke a hole--I used a wooden stick for nails. You can use a toothpick, sharpened pencil, needle, ect. 

1. Start out by rolling a small piece of Polymer clay into a ball. Press firmly down to create a circle. 2. Press the seashell into the middle of the circle. Use your fingers to gently tap the clay around the shell to hold it in place. 3. Poke a hole at the top. Bake in the oven at the temperature told on the clay package. The shell should stay in place while being baked. 4. After that's done, let cool and cut the cotton cord 20 inches long. 5. Thread the cord through the hole and make a knot. You can tie the necklace around your doll's neck or make a sliding knot. Cut off any excess cord, and you're done!!
