"Kenley, you're getting more water on me than in the pool!" Rebecca squealed as another burst of chilly water hit her. Since it felt like it was one hundred degrees, the girls decided they should beat the heat and do some swimming. Though, Kenley seemed to be having a bit too much fun with the water hose.
"Oops, sorry!" Kenley said, giggling.
The pool was soon filling up over Rebecca's feet. The water felt so nice!
Once the whole pool was full, Kenley jumped in with Rebecca with a splash!
The girls stayed in the pool until the sun was beginning to set, they didn't want the fun to end!!
Rebecca got out first and went to grab a towel to dry off, but when she came back she came upon a funny sight.
"Having trouble there, Kenley?"
"No...almost...got...it..." she muttered, leaning over the side of the pool. With a laugh, Rebecca kindly grabbed the flip flops and gave them to her friend.
Kenley smiled. "Got it! Thanks!"
Rebecca and Kenley had a great Summer day, but swimming sure is tiring! ;)
