I love braids and so does Julie with her '70s style! She looks totally groovy with this rosette braid style. Want to learn how to do this too? Let's get to it!
1. Start by taking a small section from the left side of your doll's hair and braiding down. Secure with an elastic or clip to hold it in place. Do the same to the opposite side, so you have two mini braids. Bring them together and tie off. 2. Flip the braids up, to keep them out of the way. Directly underneath the braids, make another single braid. Once you tie it off, tug on the sides a bit to give the braid fullness. 3. Bring down the braids again. 4. Braid the leftover hair left out of the elastic. 5. Create a rose shape by winding the braid into a circle. It was easier for me to wind it to the right. 6. Use bobby pins to secure it in place. And, you're done!!
It's such a gorgeous hairstyle for fall! You could dress it up with a hair bow or headband for a pretty look too.
It looks great from the front too! Julie is so pretty! :)
I thought it was hilarious how the sun reflected from her shirt to give her pink hair underneath. haha! Julie has always wanted pink hair, now she has it! ;)
If you try it out on your doll, I would LOVE to see! You can send me a picture to [email protected] or tag me on Instagram @creativedollcrafts.
