From Lois--Abby is making a fall scarecrow to decorate for Thanksgiving.  She used a paper roll, paper face and patches, a Popsicle stick, yarn, a cupcake wrapper hat, and scissors and glue. Super easy! A fun way to spend an afternoon! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! May your day be blessed!

Doll Crafts: Turkey Kisses and Thanksgiving Headband!

Clara and Kenley are getting ready for Thanksgiving with a few fun crafts! They only need a few supplies, so you can whip them up quicker than it takes pumpkin pie to bake. Let's get started!

First we have, Turkey Kisses! These will be a hit with friends and family after Thanksgiving dinner.

The supplies you need are:

• Hershey's Kisses (I used caramel for the colorful wrappers.)
• Brown Paper
• Scissors
• Red Felt
• Orange Felt
• Googly Eyes
• Hot Glue Gun

1. To make Turkey Kisses, first cut a circle from the brown paper about an inch wide. 2. Cut another circle with fancy scissors -or- you can draw a puffy circle and cut around the lines. Fold the puffy circle down a little to create a base, and glue it onto the flat circle. 3. Glue the googly eyes onto the Hershey's Kiss. 4. Cut out a beak from the orange felt and turkey snood from the red felt.
5. Glue those on, then glue the Hershey's Kiss on the flat circle. And, you're done!!

Give your doll's outfit a fun & festive look with a Thanksgiving Headband! 

The supplies you need are:

• Three Decorative Leaves.
• Brown Felt
• Orange Felt
• Red Felt
• Googly Eyes
• Brown Elastic or Ribbon
• Hot Glue Gun

1. To make the headband, start by gluing the leaves together by stacking them one on top of the other. 2. Cut a brown circle about an inch wide. 3. Glue that to the middle of the leaves. 2. Glue on the googly eyes on the brown felt. 3. Cut a beak and turkey snood from the orange and red felt and glue them on too. 4. Attach to a piece of elastic (10 inches around) or a long piece of ribbon. And, you're done!!
