Fun Find: Michaels Creatology 18 Inch Doll Outfits!

Michaels craft store has a new line of Creatology brand dolls and clothing items! The clothes fit 18 inch dolls like American Girl and are super cute. They retail for $9.99 but using their frequent 50% or 40% off coupon make the outfits only $5-$6. If you've been wanting to get some new Fall clothes for your doll without spending much money, this is a great deal!

Lea loves the Doll Heart Pajama Set--though, I think it looks good as everyday clothes! It came with a gray shirt with sequin heart applique and gray and white striped leggings.

To finish the look I added Melody's shoes and a glitter headband I made (in my shop here!).

Another outfit I bought was the Tutu Top & Leggings Set which you saw on Melody a few weeks ago. It comes with a gray t-shirt and leggings with the tutu attached. Some sparkly shoes I had went nicely with it too.

 This is so worth it just for the t-shirt, it's a perfect fit!

Fun Find: Doll School Supplies!

There are so many cute school supplies out now and while shopping, I came across some perfectly sized for dolls!

I found two Flash Charms at Michaels craft store, a calculator and crayon marked down to a dollar each. Also at Michaels there were these mini tapes, 50% off $2.99. Then in the Target dollar section I found these adorable erasers with cactus and succulents on them. 

What I did with the Flash Charms was open the metal jump ring and the clip slid right off. With scissors I snipped the hole at the top.

See? A great calculator for dolls!

The red crayon is super cute too.

The erasers came in a pack of 20 and are so tiny!

I love the adorable mini tape!! They have inspiring sayings on them like, Believe, Dream, Sweet Stuff, and Shine Bright. The tape actually works too so you can use them for yourself and your doll!

Kit is happy to have some new supplies! 

It's fun to find inexpensive things at stores that fit my dolls! I always keep my eyes open. :)

Our Generation "It Seams Perfect" Doll Sewing Set Review!

Every time I go to Target I have to check out all the Our Generation doll brand clothes and accessories. I was there this weekend and that's just what I did, but I never expected to come across this adorable sewing set!!

I couldn't believe it! I had seen this before in pictures but not up close. My dolls had to have it!

The It Seams Perfect set retails for $29.99, but you get SO much for the price! The bigger pieces are the sewing machine and the sewing table & chair. The chair is smaller than usual for dolls, but I think it's supposed be like that so your doll can reach the machine.

The table flips out and has a spot for the sewing machine.

The drawers on the table don't work, but are a nice decoration. I love the coral color scheme of the furniture.

The sewing machine has the stitch detail on the side. You can also twist the knob on the side to move the needle up and down, which is cool! The lever on the back of the machine lifts the needle, so you can place the fabric beneath it. It's made of plastic and is light, but durable!

The set comes with roll of fabric and a 18 inch doll dress pattern, that you can use and sew the dress with a real sewing machine!

I love the vintage design on this sewing box! It's the perfect size to fit all the small things included. The pin cushion bracelet can fit over your doll's wrist (though it's a little tight at first). 

 My favorite sewing accessory is the realistic scissors, they actually open and close!!

Kenley is ready to start sewing...

She's going to skip the pattern for now and practice some simple stitches.

I think Kenley has a found a new hobby she loves. ;)

The dress form in this set is amazing quality too! It's heavy at the bottom, so it will not tip over. You can put doll clothes on it too, so it would make a great display piece.

Kenley can't wait to design her own clothes now!!

She's already dreaming up all the possibilities...
