Isabelle Dances Into the Spotlight Movie CD & DVD Release!

This is such awesome news!! I recently got an email from Little World Records about the American Girl Isabelle Dances Into The Spotlight new movie music soundtrack. Here's some info that I can share with you!

"Isabelle Dances Into The Spotlight movie soundtrack will be released on June 24th by ABKCO Records through its Little World Records imprint. This marks the first time in the 28-year history of American Girl that a soundtrack will be available on CD for a direct-to-video title. The album features music from the movie, which will be released digitally on July 8th and on Blu-ray and DVD July 22nd. The film is directed by Vince Marcello, produced by Debra Martin Chase and distributed by Universal Studios Home Entertainment.

The inspirational film is based on Isabelle Palmer, American Girl’s 2014 Girl of the Year®. Starring Melora Hardin and presenting Erin Pitt as Isabelle, the movie tells the story of a talented 9-year old girl who is passionate about dance and fashion design. Isabelle struggles with self-doubt when she starts attending the Anna Hart School for the Arts, where her sister is the star ballerina. When Isabelle stops comparing herself to others and learns to focus on her own unique talents, she finds a special way to stand out and to use her passions to help others, too.

The soundtrack features music from the film that reflects its powerful themes of friendship and being true to yourself, including the single 'UR Your Own Star'.

'UR Your Own Star', was showcased earlier this year during Isabelle’s Dance Jam, a girl-friendly event inspired by Isabelle’s passion for dance. Participants had the opportunity to learn a dance to the song and perform it at American Girl stores nationwide or submit their performance through American Girl’s website for the chance to be included in the Isabelle’s Dance Jam video. The video will debut during the Isabelle Dances Into the Spotlight movie-viewing events at American Girl stores in late July and on americangirl.com on August 1, 2014."

Saige Paints the Sky Doll Movie Party!

The long awaited night had arrived, the movie premiere of Saige Paints the Sky! Mia, Rebecca, and Felicity were chatting away as they waited for the clock to hit 8 PM.

"Who wants Popcorn?" Saige asked, happily carrying in another large bowl.

"ME!" Mia yelled out. "You can never have too much popcorn!"

"I have to agree!" Saige said and took a peek at the TV. "How much longer until my movie starts?"

"In about five minutes!" Felicity said. "While we wait, let's see how many pieces of popcorn we can catch in our mouth!"

Mia laughed. "You're crazy, Lissie!"

"No it's easy! See?" Felicity threw a popcorn kernel high up into the air.

"Caught it!" Rebecca said. "What do I win?"

"Shhhh! It's starting!!" Saige yelled, sitting down. As the beginning credits ran, Saige beamed a wide smile. "Yay, I can't wait!!!!!!"

"Shhhh!" Felicity, Mia, and Rebecca said together, giggling.

They all munched on popcorn as the movie played...it was getting so good!

Even Meatloaf wanted to watch!

Finally the movie came to a close and the girls clapped and cheered. "Best movie EVER!"

New Saige American Girl Movie Trailer!

I was browsing the American Girl website earlier and noticed they have the new American Girl Saige Paints the Sky movie trailer to watch! I'm so excited!!
