American Girl Doll Hair Salon Double Waterfall Twist!

When I was at the American Girl store in Nashville, I went over to the Doll Hair Salon and looked at all of the beautiful doll hairstyles. Their featured style was one for Summer: a Double Waterfall Twist! I took a picture of it and thought I would try to do it myself once I was home.

Lea and I were up for the challenge!!

Here's what the style looked like at the American Girl Doll Hair Salon! Mine isn't exactly like theirs, but I think it turned out so cute. :)

Last year I did a Double Waterfall hairstyle, but that one was all the way across unlike this one being two sides. (You can check out that tutorial by clicking here.) I still used that same technique, but the left side was a bit more tricky! Instead of crossing the hair from right to left, you do it opposite from left to right. Go slow, and tie off each side with a clear elastic. You should have four by the time you're done. Then combine them all with a final elastic, adding a sweet hair bow to finish off the look. :)

Lea loves her new style and I brought her back a souvenir t-shirt! Isn't the star design adorable?!

My Trip To The American Girl Nashville Store!

I'm back from my trip to Tennessee! I went to visit family and on the way home we dropped by Nashville and the American Girl store. I was so excited to see this store and all of the new things inside!!

The item I was most looking forward to seeing was the American Girl Grand Hotel...isn't it amazing?!

I love the front desk and lobby area. The bell on the desk actually works too. 

The Room Service Set is so realistic...yum! ;)

Truly Me #67's hair!!! I LOVE it!

There are lots of Truly Me dolls now, they have to put them in two separate glass cases. Here's one of them, with them all wearing the beautiful new meet outfit.

All of the nice pieces in the Mix & Match collection.

The new dog and cat are adorable! The beds were a lot bigger than I expected too and great quality.

New school lunch set and the little class pet hamster. It's so tiny! 

The new Coconut T-shirt! I like how AG is bringing out more separates. 

Now onto, Z! She is a lovely doll! :)

Her collection is fun and well done!! Her Filming Accessories must be very popular, they were out of stock in store like online.

I want Z's desk in my size! They also had an ad for Z's movie on Amazon, you should definitely check that out. I thought it was great. :)

Tenney & Logan welcomed us to Nashville!

Logan is such a handsome little guy in his leather jacket.

Gabriela's Loft Bed is H.U.G.E.!!!

Her other new outfit! The skirt is nice and flowy.

New WellieWishers items, I can't stand the cuteness!

I love how everything is accurate to the WellieWishers shows on Amazon too. :)

The Outdoors In Overalls Outfit might have come home with me for Willa... ;)

I was happy to see Melody's display at the store! (Her pjs are on my wishlist now for sure.)

I can't wait to see what the BeForever section will look like with Nanea!!

 Julie's bathroom sure is groovy! Wow!

New American Girl Displays At Toys "R" Us!

American Girl introduced their Shop-In-Shops at Toys "R" Us back in November and recently updated their displays with some of the new Truly Me and Wellie Wishers items. I went to my local store the other day and took some pictures to share with you! (You can check to see if your store has American Girl on the Toys "R" Us website, here.)

They had all of the new mix and match collection and it was nice to see the clothes on the dolls! :)

It made me want Summer to come even quicker!! 

I really love the new Dream Pajamas. I didn't realize part of the design was glittery!

The tankini is awesome too and the little sub sandwiches!

They had the ice cream cart out and it was very cute in person!!

The new Wellie Wishers display was my favorite! My Willa needs that swimsuit this Summer!!

The new Wellie Wishers Mega Construx Sets were also at Toys R Us.

They had Willa & Kendall's Playful Playhouse Set, Emerson's Garden Theater, and Camille's Cheerful Carriage. Willa's & Ashlyn's sets must be popular since they were gone. :)

They look like a lot of fun to build!

They have Wellie Wishers figures too. Have you gotten any of the sets? 

I think it's cool how Toys R Us updates the AG displays. I've heard that Gabriela is supposed to be available there soon, so I'm keeping an eye out for that!
