Handmade Doll Clothes At The State Fair 2018!

This week I went to the Kentucky State Fair and loved looking at all of the handmade doll clothes! It's always so fun to see everyone's creativity and talent! There were some American Girl doll models along with lots of other dolls too. Don't these two remind you of Mary and Laura from Little House on the Prairie? :)

There seemed to be a lot more historical clothing this time around! They were all so beautiful!

This one was my absolute favorite!! I love the lace and all the details!

The fabrics chosen for the outfits was really fun to see too! :)

Saige is such a cute colonial girl in this outfit made by a 13 year old, wow!

American Girl Doll Halloween Crafts & Fall Ideas!

I love fall and Halloween doll crafting!! Today I wanted to share my favorite doll crafts to give you some fun inspiration and ideas for the season. I hope you enjoy them! (Just click on the links and they will lead you to my easy tutorials.) First up, you can turn your doll's hair into a spiderweb masterpiece with a Halloween ponytail veil. 

Your doll can bake a batch of delicious candy corn cookies to bring to her next party. They are Grace approved! ;)

One of the best things about fall is the leaves. Decorate your doll's home with a beautiful fall wreath.

Does your doll want to be a princess for Halloween? Create a one-of-a-kind lace crown fit for royalty.

How about a sweet kitty? These cat ear hair clips are great for a last minute costume! 

The Wellie Wishers need a costume too! She'll be the most beautiful girl at the ball wearing her
no-sew masquerade ball gown.

Your doll will need a treat bag to hold all of her candy and treats. Why not make it cute?!

A candy corn flower pot will brighten up any doll room. You can make one Wellie Wishers or American Girl size!

Pumpkins aren't only for carving. Try painting an emoji pumpkin!

Or if your doll has a sweet tooth, paint a yummy donut pumpkin.

 

If she's a cat lover, decorate a Kitty Pumpkin...meow!

Need doll house Halloween decorations? Put up these spooky spiderwebs.

Dress up your doll's ponytail with a festive ribbon hair bow.

Paper Pumpkins are adorable as doll props and last all year long!

I can't get enough of pumpkin painting!! There are so many ways to decorate them.

But if you get tired of painting them, you can try these other creative decorating ideas instead. ;)

Need a doll costume and fast? Make these easy fairy wings!

Or, give her a mysterious disguise with a pretty mask.

Make your doll's hair the center of attention of your doll's costume with a spooky spider bun.

Get out the needle and thread and hand sew a felt treat bag for trick-or-treating. You could even coordinate it to her costume!

American Girl WellieWishers Outdoors In Overalls Outfit Review!

Willa was excited to wear her new outfit today as she skipped along the sidewalk. Isn't she cute?! I bought this during my trip to the American Girl Nashville Store and I just couldn't pass it up. This has to be one of my favorite outfits to date!

Look at the adorable embroidery! I love how the overalls and t-shirt are separate. The shirt would look great with a pair of Wellie jeans from Etsy.

The matching handkerchief is attached to elastic, so it's very easy to put on the doll. :)

Yay for more shoes for the WellieWishers! These are plastic purple flats and I like the flower detail on the front.

Willa is so sweet wearing it, but I think it would look amazing on any of the WellieWishers dolls. It's such a fun outfit!

Willa gave a final smile for the camera before going off to play in the garden. ;)

I can't wait to take more pictures of her as the leaves start changing! I am so excited for Fall, how about you?
