Welcome November with this pretty fall craft! The pumpkin vase makes a cute centerpiece for a table, decoration for a doll house, or a fun photo prop. It's a great way to use any left over pumpkins or styrofoam ones on sale too. Let's get started!!
The supplies you'll need are: A styrofoam pumpkin or a real one, pumpkin carving knife, plastic spoon, scissors, and silk flowers. (Adult help and supervision is advised.)
1. Once you've gathered all of your supplies, start by cutting the pumpkin top with the carving knife. Cut around and through the middle to help get to the inside of the pumpkin. 2. The syrofoam can get everywhere, so it's a lot easier to do this part over a trash can. Use the plastic spoon to dig out some of the styrofoam and make a small hole. 3. Cut the silk flower stems to shorten them. 4. Arrange the flowers inside the pumpkin and you're done!!
Now your doll has her own pumpkin vase. Addy is looking super adorable with it! She can't wait to use it to decorate for Thanksgiving.
If you make one, I'd LOVE to see! You can send me a picture to [email protected] or tag me on Instagram @creativedollcrafts.
Happy Crafting!! :)
