Fun Find: My Life As Brand Outdoor Chair For 18 Inch Dolls!

The weather here in Kentucky has been amazing and crazy! I've been wearing Summer clothes in February which has never happened before. Melody took advantage of the beautiful day too and relaxed with her new outdoor chair I found recently.

The Outdoor Chair is My Life As doll brand from Walmart. It fits American Girl dolls and other 18 inch dolls. They are made of sturdy plastic and I love the dark teal color! The price was a great deal at $7.92. You can also buy them online at Walmart.com. I bought two of them for my dolls to use by the pool this Summer, but Melody was eager to use hers. ;)

She had her sunglasses and lemonade handy. These outdoor chairs, called Adirondack chairs, are very popular! Here's a link to regular sized chairs that look JUST like the doll one: click here.

Melody also couldn't decide what headband to wear today, which one do you like best? (All of them are available in my shop, Creative Doll Crafts.)

I definitely recommend these outdoor lawn chairs, they are so cute!

The Queen's Treasures Vintage 1930s Doll Stove Review!

Kit has been baking up a storm with her new stove from The Queen's Treasures, a shop that sells beautiful high-quality furniture, clothing, and accessories sized perfectly for 18 inch dolls like American Girl. They sent us their 1930s Style Stove to review and I'm excited to share it with you today!

The stove came all in one piece, no assembly required which was so nice. I love being able to use something right out of the box. The stove is made from wood and is very well done!! I love how it's a historical furniture piece and great for Kit.

All of the compartments open and the little stove rack even slides out, just like a real stove!

All kinds of doll food can fit inside the oven for hours of play. The knobs are just for show, but are a fun addition. 

The painted detail on the stove is so pretty and I love how there is a lot of storage space. The top opens up like a bread box, while the other ones open from the bottom. 

I can imagine all the kitchen utensils and leftover treats you could store inside!

Kit's pie is done baking!! Now she needs to let it cool. :)

The top of the stove has four little spaces for pots, pans, or pies! I like how there's a small section above it to put on more small decorations or kitchen items. 

Kit can't wait to dig into her yummy handmade cherry pie! (Stay tuned for a craft tutorial!) The Queen's Treasures stove is amazing and I can see getting years and years of use out of it. The play value and attention to detail is what makes this company so great!

Fun Find: Wooden Whimsical Doll Chair!

While selling some old things at a yardsale with my family last weekend, we took a look around at some other sellers. And, guess what we found?!

This awesome chair for a dollar, that was perfectly doll-sized! It's not a normal chair though, it's made out of real wooden sticks!

I just love how whimsical and unique this chair is. I thought it looked a bit historical so Felicity was my beautiful model!

Felicity looks like all those colonial young ladies who would sit in the garden and do needlepoint while having girlish gossip...haha :) 

This chair is so perfect for the outdoors and I can't wait to do more with it!

Always keep your eyes open at yardsales, flea markets, thrift shops, or even regular stores for doll-sized items! It's like a treasure hunt, you never know what you might find!!
