Felicity as Anne of Green Gables!

Winter is coming quicker than I'm used to (brrrr!!!), so I've been wanting to find new books to read! Of course, my dolls are big readers too. Felicity in particular may have gotten a little carried away with her newfound love of Anne of Green Gables.

Doesn't she make a great Anne?! This dress is actually one from a porcelain doll (I did a post on it a long time ago, click here to see it.) And, the straw hat I got at a yardsale. I made the little book too. So cute!

Anne of Green Gables is one of my very favorites! I read it a few years ago and it will continue to stick with me. I love the character of Anne and the situations she gets herself into are hilarious!

So...Felicity and I were wondering what are some of your favorite book characters?

Liz's Ramblings: New Room Color!

I consider each one of you my best friends and I love having the opportunity to share about my life with you! You may remember when I gave a video tour of my bedroom and mentioned I was going to re-decorate soon. Well, I'm extremely excited to announce that yesterday, I painted my room!

I bid a bittersweet goodbye to my pink walls, and said hello to blue. Ivy is being my model today to show you!! :)

I fell in love with this color that is a light blue/green, with the paint name "Mermaid's Song." It's so bright and pretty!!

I painted my doors white and will have new white furniture too, the two colors together are amazing!

Ivy thinks this would make a groovy hiding spot. haha ;)

Thanks for letting me share! Don't be too surprised if you see more of it in the days to come! I can't wait until the whole room is finished. Now I'm curious, what color is your room? :)

Happy National Dog Day With My Dolls!

Did you know today is National Dog Day?! I love that dogs have their own special day! I've never had one before, but my dolls have had so many adventures with their dogs, Coconut, Meatloaf, and Toasty. Let's go back to the past of some of my favorite pictures of my dolls with their dogs...
