Melody's Retro Polka Dot Outfit Of The Day!

Melody is pretty in pink today wearing her new dress from Our Generation! I found this "Get Spotted" outfit on sale at Target for $8.98 and couldn't pass it up. It came with lots of cute items: a dress, fur shawl, handbag, gloves, shoes, pearl necklace, and a hanger. I styled Melody for Summer, but I can't wait to use the other pieces in more photos! I love how the pink headband I made matches the dress too. :)

The sunsets lately have been amazing! I think Melody looks like she's walking home from an evening church service or choir practice.

Melody loves her new outfit and I love a good deal!! It's a win-win! ;)

I'm very happy with this outfit and everything is so well made--the purse even opens and there's a lot of room inside. Always keep a look out at Target for sales on Our Generation! :)

Happy Opening Day: Kit's Cincinnati Reds Baseball Outfits!

Happy Opening Day for Baseball! Kit can't wait to cheer on our home team, the Cincinnati Reds. Back in the early 2000s, the Reds used to have an event sponsored by American Girl called "American Girl Day". The first 4,000 girls in line for the game would get free baseball clothes for their doll. I went for three years before American Girl stopped doing it--they were awesome! I thought it would be fun to show you what I got each year. :)

In 2004 was a traditional 1930s Reds cap & jersey that was a part of American Girl's Reds Fan Outfit for Kit released that year.

In 2005, it was a gray Cincinnati jersey, pants, and cap.

It was a uniform replica the players wore at the Away games. I think Kit looks cute in it! :)

The final year in 2006, it was a Reds jacket and matching cap.

I love how shiny it is! (The clothes look great with Molly's red skirt too.)

American Girl Outfit Of The Day: Flower Garden Dress On Grace!

Grace and I are getting Spring Fever a bit early, but we can't help it! The sun came out, so I snapped a few photos of her in one of my favorite American Girl outfits, the Flower Garden Dress from 2011. I love the style of this dress, the blush pink color, and of course the floral pattern!

For an accessory, I added my new purple flower headband that is available in my shop, Creative Doll Crafts. I think it matches the dress beautifully!
